Family Assessment Support Worker
Job Description
- To work closely with Lead Assessor/Social Worker in undertaking court-directed Parenting and Family assessments using the DoH framework and provide high quality observations and analysis of key work sessions with parents.
- To produce and present high-quality reports and other such reports as required and to attend conferences, meetings, and court as necessary.
- To represent the centre’s views at meetings and court relating to direct work and key work sessions undertaken with parents.
- To accompany, supervise and support parents when attending community-based activities and supervised contact

Deputy Manager £35k to £40k
Job Description
- We are looking for a Deputy Manager with a view to training the candidate for the Post of Registered Manager within 12 months. We will pay for the relevant Management and Leadership Training. The Deputy Manager will be accountable to and will work alongside the Registered Manager.
- Your role will be focused on working in accordance with the statutory and legislative OFSTED frameworks for Residential Family Centres.
- In addition, you will be responsible for staff supervision, appraisals and quality assurance processes, and support the day to day functioning of the unit.

Your role will include writing and/or overseeing Court directed reports, assessment/review meetings and approving daily logs.
- You must be suitably qualified with an appropriate Degree in Social Work, at least five to seven years of post-qualifying experience and minimum of two years of management experience in a social care setting.
- Experience in a residential social care setting/residential family centre will be preferable. You must be willing to work towards management/leadership in social care qualification if you do not already have this. The organisation will subsidise this. A competitive salary will be offered, taking into account experience and professional qualifications.

Registered Manager £45k - £48
Job Description
- We are looking for a Registered Manager with a proven track record of managing a residential family centre or children’s home. The Registered Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day management of the Orchards alongside working in accordance with the statutory and legislative OFSTED frameworks for Residential Family Centres.
