The Orchards boasts a dedicated team of qualified and professional staff. Our professional team have a wide range of skills and experience in various fields, namely:

- Mental Health and Training and Development.
We promote an ethos of team work and valuing difference and diversity.
The centre is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days a week, offering robust round the clock support, availability and security. The centre is equipped with a sophisticated CCTV monitoring system.
The Orchards operates a day and night shift rota system with handover meetings at the start and end of each shift. In addition we have morning and weekly planning meetings with parents for the duration of the assessment. We value feedback from staff, residents and professionals and we are constantly looking at ways of improving our service.
All Staff are qualified to offer support, advice, guidance, key work sessions and mentoring. We work closely with health professionals such as GP’s; Midwives and Health Visitors.
The Orchards has a training and development plan for all staff, with staff supervision taking place on a weekly basis. Training is delivered in line with current legislation and materials, child development theories, research trends and statutory requirements.
